City Squash

6 Courts  /  Urban Squash, Membership Required - CitySquash is a not-for-profit, after-school enrichment program in the Bronx at Fordham University, and in Brooklyn at Poly Prep Country Day School. Volunteers for the program have court access.

CityView

4 Courts  /  Public, Membership Required - Located in Long Island City, 15 minutes from Grand Central Station, CityView offers a range of clinics and training programs for both adult and junior players.

Eastern Athletic Club

8 Courts  /  Public, Membership Required - Located just off the 2,3 in Brooklyn Heights, Eastern Athletic Club is an easy commute from Brooklyn or Manhattan. Eastern Athletic offers monthly or yearly memberships which vary in price depending on how often you use the club and which amenities you use. EAC also hosts a Pro League team.

Equinox

5 Courts  /  Public, Membership Required - The only Equinox club in New York City with squash courts, the Upper East Side club has a strong group of high level players, and hosts a range of NY Squash tournaments and events throughout the season, and hosts a Pro League team.

Harmonie Club

3 Courts  /  Private, Members Only - Squash has been a staple of the Harmonie Club since the 1930’s. The Harmonie Club regularly fields teams for NY Squash league.

Harvard Club of New York

7 Courts  /  Private, Members Only - The Harvard Club of New York is a powerhouse of the local squash community, and boasts four international and three American squash courts. The Harvard Club participates in the NY Squash singles league at all levels, fielding both men’s and women’s teams, and hosts NY Squash Pro League team.

Heights Casino

6 Courts  /  Private, Members Only - “No other clubhouse in America is quite like the Heights Casino, for it will combine in the heart of the city many of the attractive features of a country club.” The club fields teams in NY Squash leagues, and is home to the Carol Weymuller Open in mid-October, and the David C Johnson Memorial Doubles Tournament in February. White attire only. Hosts a NY Squash Pro League team.

Open Squash

5 Courts  /  Public, Membership Required - Open Squash, which opened in October 2019, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community center with the mission of expanding access to squash for the general public. One block south of Bryant Park. Facilities include five courts, a fitness area, and a cafe bar.

New York Athletic Club

5 Courts  /  Private, Members Only - The New York Athletic Club (“NYAC” as it is more commonly known), boasts 5 international singles courts and 1 hardball doubles court. They are very active in both NY Squash singles and doubles leagues. NYAC hosts the Big Apple Open, an SDA event in late October, and host a Pro League team.

Nicol Squash

4 Courts  /  Public, No Membership Required - Friendly streetfront club with 4 courts, fitness area, and lounge. Opened and operated by former World #1 Peter Nicol and Jessica Winstanley. Features rotating adult programming and a robust junior program headed by Jamal Callender.

Public Squash

1 Court  /  Public, No Membership Required - Public Squash is leading the way for public-access courts in NYC, with their first court opening in 2018 in Hamilton Fish Park in the Lower East Side. This court is open to the public and is a great place to pick up a game.

Racquet and Tennis

Private, Members Only - Racquet and Tennis club (R&T) is a men’s only club on Park Avenue. They boast four international squash courts, two court tennis courts, two racquets courts and 1 hardball doubles court. They are active in NY Squash doubles league and they alternate between hosting the Kellner Cup and an SDA Challenger Event. White attire only.

StreetSquash & The Squash Academy @ StreetSquash

8 Courts / Urban Squash, Membership & Pay to Play Options - StreetSquash’s mission is to provide consistent, long-term and reliable support to the children, families, and schools in Harlem & Newark. Volunteers for the program have court access. They boast 7 international squash courts and field both men’s and women’s singles league teams every year. The high-school girls often travel to the Women’s Howe Cup in early November with the team from NY Squash. Additionally, The Squash Academy @ StreetSquash offers both junior training programming, and court access to juniors and adults on a pay to play basis.

Squash RX

3 Courts / Public, No Membership Required - SquashRx runs the only full-service squash facilities in New York City that do not require membership or other institutional affiliation. They have a team of professional coaches with decades of experience in nurturing beginners and champions alike. In addition to their Midtown location at 70 West 36th St, in August 2019 they launched a new 2-court downtown facility in the Financial District. Located at 160 Broadway, it is steps from Fulton Center, the World Trade Center and Wall Street and connects directly to almost every subway line in New York City, plus PATH.

Princeton Club of New York

2 Courts / Private, Members Only- The Princeton Club is located in the heart of Manhattan just a few blocks away from Grand Central. It boasts two international squash courts and is very active in NY Squash singles league, also hosting a Pro League team.

5 Courts / Private, Members Only - The Union Club boasts 4 international squash courts as well as 1 hardball doubles court.

Union League Club

2 Courts / Private, Members Only- The Union League Club boasts two international squash courts. Located in the heart of Manhattan, it is just a few blocks away from Grand Central Station. The Union League Club is very active in both NY Squash singles and doubles leagues.

7 Courts / Private Club, Members Only - The University Club, located on 5th Avenue and 54th Street, is home to 6 international squash courts and 1 hardball doubles court. The club hosts the O’Reilly Pro-Am every year where University Club members get to team up with SDA pros for the weekend to see who is the best pairing. White attire only.

3 Courts / Private Club, Members Only - The newly renovated Yale Club, located just steps from Grand Central, features three ASB international squash courts. The Yale Club is active in NY Squash singles league, fielding teams of all levels.
