The NY Open has been a classic fixture on the regional squash calendar since the mid-1990's. It started at the Eastern Athletic Club in Brooklyn Heights, moved to the Printing House for many years, and is now back at the Eastern Athletic Club's seven courts.
The NY Open is the first tournament of the season, and offers divisions for all skill levels. Most players have three matches, and all players have two. Food, beer, and wine is served at the pro exhibition match Saturday afternoon and evening.
